little history of the boot

Now it finally takes shape and starts to resemble a boat. There's a few pictures starting from cutting the tree for the keel, which happened last summer up north, at the polar circle, together with Roel. Today I attached the last plank. There's still plenty of work, - ribs and rub rails, knees, seat risers and seats and stuff, oiling and painting and so on. But get ready anyway and patch up your water wings, - big boat launching party and maiden voyage celebration coming up any fine summer day soon... ah, and if anyone happens to have a little outboard motor lying around...
